Do you look like Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins, or Johnny Gill, a/k/a the world famous singing group New Edition?
Can you act, sing, and/or dance? Are you at least 13 and do you appear to be between the ages of 10 and 25?
IF YOU ANSWERED YES TO ALL THE ABOVE, THEN BET NETWORKS WANTS TO SEE YOU AUDITION FOR THE NEW EDITION MINI SERIES!
Submit an audition video to www.bet.com/neweditioncasting by February 3, 2016 at 11:59PM ET!
In order to be considered, your audition must adhere to the following guidelines:
*Record your audition with a phone or digital camera
*First state your name, height, whether you are under 18 years old (but not your exact age), the city and state in which you reside, your email address and phone number, and which New Edition member you’re auditioning for (BE SURE TO RECORD THIS PORTION IN A CLOSE-UP SHOT OF YOUR FACE)
*Sing only 1 of the following New Edition songs for no longer than 1 minute: “Candy Girl,” “Cool it Now,” or “Mr. Telephone Man”
*Show your dance moves for no longer than 30 seconds (CAN BE DONE WHILE SINGING OR SEPARATELY)
*Perform a monologue demonstrating your acting ability for no longer than 1 minute
*Take a full body shot for the song and dance portion(s) and a medium shot for the monologue
*Length of entire audition must not exceed 3 minutes
